This page appears when you click the Comments button on the Order Samples: Sample Information, Unreleased Order Details, or Order Details pages. Note that if there are comments at any level for the patient, the button text will be italicized.

• If you access this page from the Order Samples: Sample Information or Unreleased Order Details pages, you may view or modify patient, order, and order choice comments.
• If you access this page from the Order Details page, you may view or modify patient, order, order choice, and test comments.

Note that Harvest Webstation will alert you if you attempt to modify an unreleased order that has been accessioned into Harvest.

Accessing Test-level Comments

1. Click the Comments button on the Order Details page. When you first open the Comments page, Harvest Webstation displays tabs to access the patient, order, and order choice-level comments.

   Note that you must open the Comments page from the Order Details page in order to access test-level comments.

2. Click an order choice tab. Harvest Webstation updates the page to show tabs for the selected order choice and all of the tests contained in the order choice.
3. You may add, modify, or delete comments as you normally would (see below).
4. Click Back to return to the patient and order comments.

Adding, Modifying, or Deleting Comments

Note that you must have the necessary security settings in order to add, modify, or delete comments. See Configuring Harvest Webstation: Establishing Security Settings for more information. If you don't have the necessary security settings, the Add and Delete buttons will be hidden.

1. By default, Harvest Webstation displays the order-level comments when you open the Comments page. Click one of the other tabs to view comments at other levels. Note that Harvest Webstation displays the patient, order, order choice, or test information directly beneath the selected tab.

To access test-level comments, you must access the Comments page from the Order Details page and then click an order choice tab (see "Accessing Test Comments" above).

2. Harvest Webstation lists each comment with the Creation Date, Creation Time, and Comment text. If there are no comments for the selected item, Harvest Webstation lists "No Comments."
3. Click Add to create a new comment at the selected level (patient, order, order choice, or test) in the Add Comment page. See Add/Edit Comment.
4. If there is an existing comment, click the comment description to edit the comment in the Edit Comment page. See Add/Edit Comment.
5. To remove a comment, click the Delete button that corresponds to the comment. Harvest Webstation prompts you to confirm the deletion. Click OK to continue, or click Cancel to cancel the deletion.
6. When you are finished viewing or modifying the comments, click Close to return to the preceding page. Note that if you are modifying order choice or test comments for a specific order choice, you must first click the Back button to return to the patient and order comments, so you can access the Close button.
