Using the Security Reasons Page
- Depending on the preferences established in Harvest, Harvest Webstation filters results, determining what
results you may or may not view. One of these filters is whether or
not you may view inaccessible results. See Configuring Harvest Webstation: Modifying Program Preferences for more
information on establishing preferences.
- When looking up results or orders in Harvest Webstation via the Find
Patient or Find Sample ID options and Harvest Webstation is configured
to show inaccessible results, sample IDs for inaccessible orders are
displayed as regular text instead of as a hyperlink on the Edit Patient: Orders Tab and on the Sample
ID Search Results pages. These inaccessible orders are followed
by a small "??" hyperlink.
- Click the ?? link to display the Security Reasons page, entitled
"You Do Not Have Access to These Results."
- The Security Reasons page contains the following information:
- The order information (Sample ID, Patient Name, Patient Location,
Patient or Ordering Provider, Draw Location, Order Location) If the filtering preference is set to
restrict based on the ordering provider, the Ordering Provider is shown, otherwise
the Patient Provider is shown.
- Your security settings (Web Personnel Group and Web Location Group).
- The Harvest Webstation system preferences (filter and display settings).
- An explanation of why the order is inaccessible.
- If you believe that you should have access to the inaccessible result
or order, contact your Harvest System Administrator.
